Beth Moore

Titus 2:4-5 4Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

Proverbs 31:25-31
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.

26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

27 She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.

28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:

29 "Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all."

30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

31 Give her the reward she has earned,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

I am so thankful for this woman. How could she ever know through it all how God would use her past, present, and future. Beth Moore loves the women that she serves. Truly. After seeing her tonight I got in my car and almost bawled my eyes out. For reasons that are so personal to me this woman has been a mother in the faith to me. No, I do not worship her. I don't want to be her. I just want to love Jesus like she does. I am not worthy to lace her sandals. She has taught me how to love God over the last decade. She has discipled me (yes along with other sound teachers) and she has cared for me personally so many times. I will never forget her taking the time out of her day to send me a letter about the loss of Shelby Hope. I have been all around the south and to many events and to her I have not just been a sea of faces. God has used her so profoundly in my life that I will never be able to repay her. She is my apostle Paul and I love this woman so much. I praise God for her life and the tenacity at which she lives. Even tonight she was so tired and with back problems and all she got down on the floor to get a picture with Morgan. Her pursuit of Jesus has been used to turn back and snatch others from the flames as she passes the baton of faith to others in this race. Thank you Lord for this precious woman who is so dear to my heart!

Sweet Jenny! I'm so happy I was with you when Morgan got to meet Beth.

I do want to SPEAK a word over you --

YOU are MORE than worthy! In Christ, you are worthy. In Christ, you are holy, righteous, beloved, and FORGIVEN! In Christ, you are chosen!

Never forget that. I think Beth would tell you much the same, that you, my sweet dear, are just as worthy as Beth because you are BOTH in Christ!

Love you dear one!

Oh that made me get tears in my eyes! LOVE it! Precious Morgan! : )

I know how you feel! After our book signing I walked next door to Williams-Sonoma and my heart was about to burst with thanksgiving! So I just knelt down right by the utensils and thanked Him! Oh the gift she is! I want to love Jesus just like she does too...

I love you Jenny Hope! I adore your heart! Hope I can see you sometime soon! Emmy : )

So this is my second attempt at trying to comment..ugh!

Girl, I look at the pictures and I want to cry. I am happy for you. I am happy that Beth has impacted your life as much as she has. Of course I love our mama Beth too...but I know your story, and I know how precious she is to your life.
I will probably cry next time I see her, because I couldn't believe the woman knew who I was the first time around; let's say shock would describe it. But as much as she has impacted you girl, I hope you know how much we impact her. Whether or not she comes out and right says it when you talk to her, just look in her eyes girl...she needs us as much as we need her! God is all over this:)

I got to speak with my mentor today. She was the one I told you about who has been there since my freshman yr of highschool.
Its like sometimes you forget that "good" people exist in life when you've dealt with so much crazies.
I cry when I remember the "good" in my life...I know you do too.

So girl, let's have a cry together, I am going to pray for you tonight that we have plenty more of " crying" moments, because its in those moments, we appreciate SO much how GREAT of a GOD we serve:)

xoxo

Jenny, you are so precious. In God's eyes, Beth is no different than us. He just called her into different places. His blood saved her and it saved you, me and everyone that has accepted him.
So happy Morgan got to meet him.

Jenny ...

I agree God has used her so mightily ... that we might all open ourselves to that kind of servanthood.
