fearfully and wonderfully made

I was studying the eye in my MT courses and I read this little bit of info (we are fearfully and wonderfully made for sure! Psalm 139):
The innermost layer of the eye is called the retina. This is a sheet of light-sensitive nerve cells which contains cones and rods. Each eye has approximately 100 million rods which respond to dim light for black-and-white vision and 7 million cones which act as perceptors and respond to colors in daylight. There are no cones or rods located at the point of attachment of the optic nerve. This area is technically a "blind spot" and is called the optic disc.

I just think it is so incredible that there can be 100 million rods in such a small part of the body!
