help- swim lessons tomorrow

Morgan starts swimming lessons at the YMCA tomorrow. Do I need to take her arm float things or earplugs? Do I wear a swim suit to since she is 2 and it is parent child classes for 2 weeks? I asked them at the Y and they were not sure. If anyone knows I sure would appreciate it...

You do need your suit but she doesn't need anything. they have everything you need if I remember correctly. You can always have it in the car just in case but I don't think you need anything other than towels :) Have fuN!

They don't give you the "stuff" in Texas! We've done Y for more years than you are old probably. I'd bring ear plugs for her cause they have to put more chlorine in the water for a public pool than a normal pool---so swimmer's ear is more prevalent. Too bad my son can't give her private lessons!!! Enjoy every minute of it unless she doesn't like water---then you are in a fix. My youngest son hated water but got over it and he's a year-round swimmer but it was rough at first! Just came by to say hello and hope you are doing well!!!

Hi, Jenny! I am catching up on your posts today. I've been on vacation. I love your Spurgeon comment on my site! I have not had time to read it all, but I will because I love Spurgeon. When I first became a Christian I devoured his sermons.

I'm so sorry about your neck. I really hope you are doing better now.

btw, you need to wear a suit to the lessons, but they normally provide flotation devices, and from what I can remember they don't want floaties.

Let me know when you are all better so we can get together for a chat!

No floaties, but you do need a suit. And if the pool there is anything like the one where my kids took lessons, you will ned a cup of coffee, a heated towel, and a sweatsuit for when you get out.... that pool was indoors and cooollllddddd!

Hope your swim lesson experience is better than ours was........my kids hate to have water in their face.
