Blog awards and Valentines

Thank you so much Leigh for this sweet blogging award. You all are the biggest encourager's ever!

So, I pass this on today to:

NYC- She digs Jesus

Heather- She has prayed for me countless times!

Maryanna -She has been a constant source of encouragement to me over the years

Charity- She mailed me the sweetest gift today. It was so sweet of the Lord.

Amy- She is very talented, loves the Lord, and has been a sweet friend for so many years.

Bethanne - She is so real and loves the Lord so much.

And I can't leave out Bev or Janel....they mean so much to me with their constant encouragement.

I really pick all of you and I love you all!

I went to my sweet little baby girls valentines party today where all she cared about was getting some candy. Then, I worked on dinner. I made Rod a homemade lasagna that his sister taught me to make and it was wonderful. He said it was the best he had ever had and he is not one to dish out any lies about food (it is what it is) so I know he wasn't flattering me. Rod gave Morgan one pink rose and she was so thrilled and carried it around for a long time asking us to smell it.

After dinner I slept until 9pm and then went down to check on my family before Rod went to bed. It was a good day!

Also, please still lift me up in prayer. I am having a hard time with fatigue, heart palpitations, and feeling faint. I have two doctors appointments coming up and I am trying not to worry. I have been having several other issues that I am not going to post in blogland and I would appreciate your sweet prayers. I am sick of dr visits....boo!!

Jenny, thank you for the award. You are the one who is encouraging to me for you have set your sweet beautiful face like a flint to follow HIM and you are not turning back for a sec. And you are dealing with the present. You know Paul wrote right before he died that he was the chiefest of all sinners and when we see ourselves more clearly as He does, we see like Paul did. I think you make your God so happy in your pursuit of holiness. Thank you again! You have had one health issue after another, you and the baby in the bunny blanket as she is affectionately called around here every time she pops up. Praying for you not for absence of temptation but for presence of your beautiful God. Being free isn't absence of trials but what we do with them when they swarm us and how we handle the present fray of our heart and you so honor HIM! Gotta run teach & why did I make this SO LONG!! Bye!

Thanks, Jenny!!!!! I appreciate your sweet words - they mean alot coming from someone whom I consider to be 'real' and love the Lord above everything. I love to read your blog because I know that you are going to show the real you and let us in on what God is showing you that day (and believe me, if God is speaking, I need to hear it).

I am praying that your health issues will be resolved soon and you will feel better ASAP! It stinks to feel bad and with a little one it is even worse!

Thanks, friend!

Aw, thanks for the award. I'm still trying to figure out how to post it. Copy and Paste? Oh girl, you have no idea how blog illiterate I am.
I'm praying for you and your palpitations. I had that, and the doc gave me a blood pressure / heart rate med to help with it. It's fine now, thought. I think it was anxiety and a minor mitral valve issue with me. I'll be praying for you. Let me know what they say. Girl, thank YOU for being such a wonderful encourager to me, and I thank you for the award. I'm blushing.

I will keep lifting you up in prayer. You are so precious and I truly love you like a sister!

I believe Morgan was totally precious with her rose. I have always given my girls a rose, and i am guilty for there girly attitudes...and when they reached puberty they both had a talk and a purity ring with roses...so they both remember that as making those first cramps bearable. :) Love me some Jenny HOPE! Thank you for your forever-friendship, praying for me, sharing my burdens, be honest with me, standing up for me, speaking His truth into my life, always being there, discipling me when I had no idea who Jesus was!
