Morgan

I already know that I have a pistol on my hands when it comes to my little two footer. She still doesn't talk very well but one thing she has been calling me is "mom". That would be great if she were like 15 or something but I would hope that my two year old child could call me mommy. I am wondering if next year she will start calling me "mother" or something. I waited 2 years and 3 months to hear the name mommy fall from her lips and she calls me mom like she is 20 years old. She is also into taking her diaper off ALL OF THE TIME...which is getting expensive since we use Pampers (time to start learning to potty). Last night I walked in her room and she was passed out and as naked as a j-bird. That is why I don't leave that little thing unattended. Good thing she didn't have to go if you know what i mean... that was a blessing. Also, I already feel so guilty when we go to the store and she screams choo-choo, dora, go diego go, and bob and larry...meaning she wants these things when she spots them. The funniest thing is when she is getting in trouble and I ask her if she wants a spanking...she says no and shakes her head no. I am like what a stupid question like she is going to say yes "mom" spank me or something. Fun times!

That is hilarious! Bless your heart! Landon hasn't figured out how to take his diaper off yet. I don't know why I am so lucky!

We also use Pampers! Do you save the rewards points on Pampers.com? They just put some new rewards on there...you should check it out!

Landon is really hitting the "terrible twos"!! He will pitch a fit and I don't know what to do with him! Nothing works most of the time! Whew! It wears me out!! But you are right..."fun times" most of the time!!

That is absolutely adorable...you painted such a precious picture of this vivacious girl calling you "Mom!" 3 of my 4 kids still call me Mommy and I love it. One calls me Madre. When they come home for Christmas, one will call me Bev and I keep telling her that she's the only one in the world who can call me Mommy...LOL..your post is so precious filled with the fragrance of Jesus---II Cor 2:14---His Love for your precious one! He is pouring His Love into your heart cause you are so open and broken before Him. I'm smiling over here...

Oh, Jenny...You are so in for it! It's a good thing she is as cute as she is :)
Hang in there. This too shall pass (and then she'll be a teenager!).
Our 11 year old still calls me "Momma" and I have to say I love it. None of the others called me that.

Just be firm, loving and consistent with her, Jenny, That's the only advice I ever give to other mom's. Because other than those three...we all have to do what we have to do! And anytime she calls you "mom"...try responding with one word..."mommy". She'll catch on. She is so very bright.
I am loving reading about your life with your little one. With a 17, 16 and 11 year old...I miss the little two-footers!
Hugs and love. Susan
