Me: Morgan we are going to have a good day today aren't we! (notice this is a statement not a question)
Morgan: No!

She has started wanting to paint (PAINT!?!?). If we aren't painting, watching veggie tales, eating candy, drinking sprite, playing with trains, and messing up the whole house...it is not a good day to her. I am seriously in the throes of the terrible twos..thank God she is cute!! Also, I will seek to define throes for everyone because that is what is going on here (LOL):

a sharp attack of emotion.

throes,
a.any violent convulsion or struggle: the throes of battle.

and she really must have decided she was seriously not going to have a good day because she is pitching the most royal fit ever over not wanting to sit in her chair and eat. I wish those were my battles!!
I need some HELP from the Lord. =) If you are doing "Stepping Up" I hope you have that passage down or that you get it down...it is so good!

HELP HELP MOMMY she screams!! gotta go get her!

om my goodness!! That was so me on Monday! My 3.5 year old has just pushed my patience so much and Monday was my first day alone with 3 kids. I told Bible study yesterday I just kept quote that Psalm over and over "where will my help come from?!?!" Sojourning with you Siesta!

Well, don't kill her. That is the only advice I can give you right now. you know all the other stuff so just don't let her get the best of you and you kill her. You know I don't mean literally?!

You ARE a great momma Jenny. She's being the typical, crazy 2 yr old.

Hows that for no help? You stay in that Word. He's your help.
Love ya~

LOL y'all she has been "To her room" on three separate occasions today and it is 1 pm. She bit me once...threw her food on the floor...then freaked out throwing stuff because she wanted to play her veggie tales dvds in the cd player. I am a firm believer in the rod of discipline (spanking) but for this season time out works best...SHE HATES it!

I SO SO SO understand!! Landon is going through it as well! Whew! This too shall pass! Hang in there! Stand firm...don't give in! You are doing the right thing!

Hey...this is random, but I can't seem to get my hands on "No other Gods". I went to Lifeway this morning and they don't have it and amazon.com and booksamillion.com say it hasn't been released yet. Do you already have your copy? These websites don't mention when it will be released. I DO want to do this study, I will get my hands on one somehow!

Twos were tough. It does get better, I promise.

Have you ever used Color Wonder colors and finger paints? The Princess loves art, and she LOVES them. They are wonderful, because you can just let them go and not have to worry about them coloring everywhere or getting paint all over everything.

Oh girl! I am in those trenches with you! Mine is four now but I remember those days. Lifting a prayer for you.
I am doing Stepping Up and that is exactly what I thought of! Where does my help come from? The MAKER of Heaven and earth! Keep that close to heart.
Blessings,
Angela

Girl, I'm here to tell you I don't miss the terrible twos.

On another subject, if you haven't already done so, you need to check out Rick Burgess's testimony at his son's memorial. If that doesn't fire you up, I don't know what will. You can get there through their website or look on Utube for items posted by Ryan Greenwood.
