more random things

I finished my last day at jjill. YEAH!!

My mother in law bought me this sweater for my parting gift! I had been wanting it...but wasn't going to buy it. She was so sweet and got it for me.

I am loving reading through the bible with Fran and Bev. I am dying for Beth to finish Esther and can't wait to start on that.

I start leading "Stepping Up" Tuesday!! The workbook was VERY good and I can't wait to see the dvds!! Please say a prayer for my group and that we will have women sign up for all of the studies that are offered. I know how much the word has changed my life... I so want that for others!!

my new years resolution (to carry a smaller purse) is still going well. LOL! I am on day 5 of a small purse. It seems like longer but I got tired of carrying the kitchen sink in my purse. I am still not free of not having a big purse and it feels really weird to make the change...but I am ok (kidding)

Here is some link love for Jessica...you need to check out her blog. She is the cutest thing!!

Genesis 21:6
Sarah said, "God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me."

Also, I can not tell you the joy that this little 2 footer has brought to my life. She is the funniest little thing ever! I hope you have some joyous moments in your life because they sure are sweet. I never knew how much God was going to use a sweet little girl to turn my world upside down. I think we spend most of the day laughing at stuff. I also never knew how vulnerable I would be. Last night she fell and hit her head (accident prone like her mother) in the corner of the wall. She had a large hematoma on her head. It scared me so bad and hurt me that she was hurt...and we are only getting started. I am not sure how some of you do it!!

Gotta go to sleep and get ready for church!! =)

Oh my Jenny Hope...I thought of you OVER and OVER and OVER again in today's chapter 2...what you have been through in your little life, such extraordinary grief is too great for utterance, but your good God is holding you. You have honored your God and seek Him and He is going to keep letting you find HIM. You are so precious Jen! Love doing this with you knowing how much the word touches your life. I am leading Stepping Up starting in one week---group of girls at my son's school. So we'll be one week behind you. Can't wait! Praying Deut 32:2 - may your teaching fall on them like rain!!!!

I just love your randomness Jenny bc thats how my brain works.

You will love Stepping Up! I have one more session to listen to on audio and absolutely love that! SO, I can't imagine actually seeing the DVD and then doing homework! :) I'll pray for your group.

And yes. There is joy and laughter in this home too. Its my favorite thing to do and be.

always praying~

Praying for your study group. We begin Stepping Up tomorrow night. I'm not leading. My bff, Jill is, however. She does an awesome job. Can't wait to compare notes with you on how this study speaks to each of us!

:) Girl, I love you! Congrats on your last day at jjill! Cute sweater--and great price! I wonder if they have that store in my area; I hadn't heard of it.

Hey Jenny! We start Stepping up on the 15th and go every other week watching the video. I am so excited! My leading/facilitating will be shared by 3 others and I'm so thankful with baby coming Tuesday. I'll be checking in to see how it's going for your group! God bless the journey, siesta!

Jenny,
I'm starting "Stepping Up" on the 15th. I'd love to compare notes with you. I pray you have a good group turn out. Likewise, pray that our group will be a good size again. Last study we had 40+ which was down from the 60 the previous one. For some reason our "spring" session numbers are always lower.

You have a beautiful daughter. I have two boys and they grow up fast (already 18 & 10 years). I like that you cherish each day you have with her.

YAY!!! No more jjill! Congrats on that! And score on that fab sweater! How sweet is that?!

How's the sweetness's little head today? No, it doesn't get any easier either. Whenever my man and I are together and the school calls, I immediately hand the phone to my man. My heart rate goes up and I start freaking out. Usually they just forgot their lunch - but i'm not taking any chances!

I haven't went through the stepping up study...let me know how it goes.

Also, I am so glad that you watched Born into brothels. It is gripping!

You are so funny! Landon is also always falling and hurting himself!! He has hit his head on the corner of a wall before and got a HUGE "pop-knot" as I call it! But as you know, better a "knot" coming out than not. If she didn't have one, then you worry. I guess you can tell I'm a nurse!! Ha!
They really are the funniest little critters! Landon has cracked me up SEVERAL times over the past few days!! God is so good!!

Awww!!! I teared up reading your blog post just now!! You have no idea how much I needed to hear that. Today was our first back to school after Christmas break, and I am tired, worn-down, and exhausted from being needed by so many kids. Your sweet words were like water to my soul! Thanks, Jenny! : )
