Update

Linda, my friend from the gas station, called me this morning to let me know that he daughter in law passed away early this morning. If you aren't familiar with what I am talking about you can read about it HERE. She said they were relieved that she was not suffering anymore. They were all pretty worn out. They were on their way to the funeral home to make arrangements. Please keep Linda, Kevin, Kayla, and Jacob in your prayers. My heart breaks for all of them. They asked me about heaven and I am going to take them the book Heaven by Randy Alcorn when I go to the funeral on Friday (it is very good if you have not read it). Thank you to everyone who expressed concern for this sweet family. Also, they were so sweet on the phone today...they were wanting to thank everyone that I knew who had helped them. My heart aches for them today.

Hi Jenny,

I just found you on Darla's blog and came over and read this story. I am so sorry for this family and will be praying for them. If there is anything I can do or send a contribution to them, please email me and let me know. This is so heartbreaking and I am sure they need all the help the Lord sends their way. Thank you for following Gods tug on your heart back in Nov.
I have learned to listen to Him when He does that with me. Isn't it wonderful how He works in us? Let me know if I can help from here.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
Luke 4:18,19

So sad, but thanks for letting us know so we can join with you in prayer. I haven't read "Heaven" yet but I've read Alcorn's books Safely Home and Deadline, and I love how he writes about heaven--a place I don't think about nearly enough!
