ps I sure hope no one feels any condemnation from my last post. I have a situation that is real close to me that caused me to fire that last post off.
Also, I was studying Morgan today and noticed her fake cries when she wants something. It is so funny because no one taught it to her...it is just in our nature. LOL!

On another note...I am looking to buy a present for my six year old niece. Morgan and I looked and looked and I just don't know what to buy a six year old little girl. Any ideas??? Do they care about clothes? Do they want money? I just don't have a clue!

The post was great Jenny. Don't let someone's opinion or lack of opinion stop you from sharing what God has placed on your heart.

It's your blog...you can do what you want to...

Sorry that was cheesy :)

Romans 8:1&2

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

Amen siesta???

I second Brenty! It was a great post! If someone doesn't like it - don't read it - or comment for that matter - no ones being forced. i'm being harsh aren't i?

again, the thing i love about you most is your sincere honesty. you're genuine and authentic (that's 3 things) - i respect that! you're human - i relate to that =)

no apology needed!

I loved your last post Jenny.
God will come through whether people accept it or not.
:)
I just have to comment there was this teacher in highschool that told us " fake it til you make it." and I remember writing a poem and she told me it wasn't any good because it seemed I was suicidal. (Hello, I was a teenager, all poetry is like that!) and when I became apart of my church, my Pastor and so many others loved my writing, they got to know me that way.
Soon after the tone of the poems changed. God is just awesome like that.:)

I love kids, and I spent a great deal stocking in the toy aisle the other night at wally world...

hmm...maybe one of them interactive Vsmile games, or movies. They are supposed to be a lot of fun for kids.

I also have a personal favorite,
" Sideways Stories from Wayside school." book. Louis Scharr.
its off the wall funny and all my students in the past have loved it.
( I am a past preschool teacher and substitute).

Beth Moore and Sheila Walsh have a young girls book out too that might be good for you to check out.

Be Blessed:) Give us an update:)

P.S- Congrats on your award:-) Faith is so sweet!

let's sing..."its my blog and I'll write what I want to, write what I want to, you can write it too , if the blog belongs to you" hahaha LOL
nothing taken personal, however sometimes God uses things to stir others up, and sometimes they don't like it, including me! Love your Blog!!

Six year old girls...mmmmm the ones that I recently had in daycare..like "Hello Kitty", and purses, and beaded bracelets, any arts/craft stuff. Hope that helps.

Love ya and really wish you were going to be there on Friday. I am meeting up with Shelly, so hopefully pics will be posted.

Not that I have a girl...all boys around here but there is one precious neice in our family. Oh darling Caroline!

she loves stuff like purses..the fluffier, cuter, frillier the better...and fake jewelry from Claires....maybe i should have said inexpensive. But you get the idea...she loves to pretend and be all grown up.

An on the note of taking offense to the last post....you were right on the money....the funny thing was, our sermon Sunday was on that!
It must be something we learn over and over....its a constant battle and an easy pit to get into.

Have a great day!

I wanted to tell you that I am so glad you posted your last one! I agree that sometimes I feel a lot of people I read about seem like they have it all together especially when it comes to their marriages. I, for one don't pretend to.

And, I can't get this out of my mind. I think because it is SO convicting for ME!
"Hihowareyou!" ...in passing! I don't want to do that anymore!

Sorry, I can't help you out with the gift for your niece. I've been away from that age group for quite some time. Art supplies?

Keep being real!
Love,
Angie

BTW: (I finally learned what that means...)
I can already tell you are a great mom! You and I have a lot in common when it comes to our childhood. We cannot fail if we seek Him in our parenting! You can't ask for more than that! I'm sure Morgan will tell you that in a few years!

I wonder what you think a "Michigan" accent is??? You are too funny! This is weird... I kind of think in movies (filmed in LA) actors sound like us. Is that just me? I would think they would have an accent but I can't hear it!

Jenny,
I do not have any advice for you on the present. It is all army, trucks, and boy stuff around here.
I agree with Brent though if someone does not like what you wrote too bad. It is your blog after all :)
I actually loved it!
Oh the Bible Study started today. I thought I was going to have close to 50 but turns out it is just over 40 women. Still I am thrilled!! GOd is good!
