I am so about to freak out! I only got like 2.5 to 3 hours of sleep last night and I was so looking forward to going to bed early tonught. I was downstairs picking up toys (oh did I mention it is 12:27am??) and out of the corner of my eye I saw something moving across the floor. A roach! It makes me sick sick sick! So of course I get my stradegy going as to how I will kill it. I beat it with a pampers wipe box and then I moved the couch and proceeded to get the vacuum out! I sucked it up and ran the vacuum for 15 more minutes to make sure I got it. I AM NOT KIDDING! I then began to clean like crazy and I scrubbed my entire kitchen floor on my knees! I AM SICK TO MY STOMACH! I cant stand bugs!!!!!!!!!!

OH I HATE! HATE! HATE! Did I mention HATE? Roaches! One night I had my HS girls over for a sleep over and down our fireplace rock wall came a HUGE roach. Ryan was only a few months old and I hear this SCREACHING x 11 in unison coming from my living room. Needless to say the bug people were at our house the NEXT day!
Ewwww...I feel for you girl. Move to the North, we don't have roaches here!
HAHAHA! I can just picture you at 1am vaccuming your carpets! Roaches are GROSS. I would've done the same thing sister!
Jenny,
I am with you sister!!
I am a big roach hater!!
We lived in a house with woods and roaches were always coming inside - big flying wood roaches!!
One night when I was in HS I was up late watching a scary movie when I heard crunching coming from behind me in the kitchen. I was scared to death but I got up and turned on the kitchen light. Right before my eyes was the biggest roach (the size of a small mouse) under the kitchen table holding a chip and chomping on it!! I could hear him chomping that is how BIG he was !!
I screamed as if the Texas Chainsaw guy was after me!! LOL!!
YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!
Oh I love the pictures of your sweet Shelby's grave!! I know that pain of losing her will be with you forever. How wonderful it will be to hold her in your arms again!! Take comfort that Jesus is holding her now :)
By the way, I think I am coming to B'ham for a week August 4-8th. We should do dinner - no seafood I promise :)!!!
I love ya siesta,
Kim
Oh my word! I lived on my own in an apartment about 30 minutes away from home for a short time. One night, I saw a huge roach (everyone else called it a waterbug, but it looked like a roach to me)I made my dad come up there right then and kill it! Being a daddy's girl really comes in handy sometimes!
I'm with you on this one. I can't stand roaches. . YUCK. YUCK. YUCK!! Get some sleep tonight.
~Cheryl
I live in a cockroach-infested state. Sister, I feel your pain!!
LOL! I hate roaches too...but I am sure I would've been giggling had I watched this entire event.
That is one thing I have to get used to here in the south, all the BIG bugs! Thank heavens I haven't seen one of those nasty roaches you have mentioned or I would flip out too!
